We spent an enjoyable morning on Sunday with a group of students from an agricultural college in the Black Mountains. They asked to visit the synagogue to pay their respects to the Jewish communities in south Wales who came before them. We showed them what will become the community garden space, and hope that they might be able to visit us for some volunteer days in the future.

We were also joined by Kate Clark, who was visiting from Australia. Kate has worked extensively in the field of conservation management and has developed strategies for the Welsh Government. We discussed future plans for the interior renovations and everyone is looking forward to following our progress.

It is always a pleasure to receive feedback and hear thoughts and ideas from the local community, and to know that news of the centre is spreading far and wide.
